Learn about the standing offer

Before submitting an offer bidders should learn about standing offers and selling to the government.

Before you submit a completed template make sure to familiarize yourself with the terms and timelines associated with the standing offer.

Firm standing offer period
is the length of time the supplier must provide service
Optional standing offer period
is the additional length of time Canada may extend the firm period that the supplier must provide service
Solicitation closing date
is the specific date and time the supplier must submit their completed response. Bids received after this time will not be accepted

You must follow the instruction described in the solicitation for the area you are offering your service

You must include a separate rate for each geographical area for which you are offering services using the templates below. The rates must be all inclusive hourly rates in Canadian funds (including salary, overhead, profit, benefits, annual leave, sick leave, etc.) for the provision of a temporary English speaking resource. Only one rate is to be provided per classification, per category.

Submit completed templates

Completed templates and bid document must be submitted following the instruction provided on the solicitation for the areas you are offering your services.

The standing offer authorities will notify you whether you have been accepted as a pre-qualified supplier.

Once you have been accepted as a pre-qualified supplier, you will be able to login to the Regional temporary help services application to manage your company information and rates, and to view the rates of others in your area.
